Our Bifold wallets are a timeless and elegant production of historical Veg-tan leather. Carved with intricate artwork, they are not only rugged and durable, but a conversation piece and a work that is sure to satisfy for years. Each wallet is roomy and has a fantastic feel in the hand; say goodbye to those box store wallets!

The Quality

This wallet is entirely handmade; cut, carved, embossed, painted and sewn by a real leatherworker from 100% top-grain vegetable-tanned leather. Veg-tan will develop a rich patina over time and form to the wearer, making it even more beautiful with time. Each wallet is saddle-stitched using a waxed thread and the edges are finished with beeswax and a black edge paint. The interior of the wallet is highly functional; it contains four card slots and a roomy interior pocket for cash. Folded cash, a stack of cards, this versatile leather wallet will handle anything you can throw at it.

The Artwork

The hand-carving and artwork on this wallet is inspired by the World Tree of Celtic myth. The World Tree is a widespread mythological motif representing a colossal, cosmic tree that connects the heavens, earth, and underworld, serving as a center of the universe
