The Triskelion Beasts Leather Belt Bag is the perfect companion for any Viking or medieval outfit! Completely handcrafted in beautiful Lanark County, Ontario. The body and lid of the bag is made from sturdy and reliable vegetable-tanned cow leather, treated and preserved with neatsfoot oil to keep it moisturized. The gusset of the bag is made from a tough yet flexible, pebbled-grain leather. The lid clasps shut with a clean, copper colored snap.
The lid of the bag is hand-carved and painted with a design based on a fibula found in Gotland. Dated to 650-700 CE, it shows several animal figures with plait patterns, arranged in a triskelion.
