The body of the purse is made from sturdy and reliable vegetable-tanned cow leather, treated and preserved with neatsfoot oil to keep it moisturized. The artwork is hand-carved and painted, the purse hand-sewn and the designs are based off of an ancient Scandinavian rune stone. The design is an amalgamation of the ancient depiction of the Norse god Tyr in the center, flanked by two wolves. On either side is spelled out FNR on the left and TYR on the right. These are representative of the names of Fenrir and Tyr.
