The body is made from a light-tanned deerskin, sourced right here in Lanark County. The lid of the bag (the mushroom cap) is made of a sturdy and reliable vegetable-tanned cow leather, treated and preserved with neatsfoot oil to keep it moisturized. The entire bag is hand-dyed, sewn and carved.
