Leather Purse - Morel Mushrooms

The third in my series of mushroom themed round purses, the Morel Mushroom Leather Purse!

This one of a kind leather purse is a beautiful, elaborate piece of functional art that you can take with you wherever you go! Comfortable and sturdy with a roomy interior, you will love taking this purse on your travels. The purse is hand-carved, painted hand-sewn and the designs are my own original artwork. The lid depicts a cluster of beautiful morel. mushrooms flanked by ferns, continued from the lid onto the body of the purse itself.

The body of the purse is made from sturdy and reliable vegetable-tanned cow leather, treated and preserved with neatsfoot oil to keep it moisturized. The flexible walls of the purse are made of a soft brown garment leather and the purse closes with a clean brass snap. The strap of the purse is also made with a sturdy piece of vegetable-tanned leather and attaches with a pair of hook clasps.
