The body of the purse is made from sturdy and reliable vegetable-tanned cow leather, treated and preserved with neatsfoot oil to keep it moisturized. The flexible walls of the purse are made of a soft black garment leather and the strap is adjustable.
The artwork is hand-carved and painted, the purse hand-sewn and the designs are my own original artwork. The lid depicts the symbol of the Viking god Thor, the hammer Mjolnir, flanked by two Norse style serpents.
